Convert EPS to PNG peps ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/local-distfiles/petef/ eps2png http://search.cpan.org/dist/eps2png/ Both use ghostscript to do the actual rendering. There are two challenges: making the eps into a postscript file, and dealing with the fact that the only gs driver that does anti-aliasing is the pnm driver (producing pgm or ppm files). Then you can run pnmtopng to get a png file: http://www.libpng.org/pub/png/apps/pnmtopng.html
